Got my results from the VA Review

I got them to explain how they do it and here is how it works. For what ever disability % you have any added disabilities are deducted from a remaining % rather from 100 % each time, This only starts being meaningful when you pass 50%. Lets say you are 50% disabled, you now have only 50% of disability left to reach 100. NOT. OK you get an added 20% for torn toenails. that is 20% of the remaining 50 or 10% disability you are now paid at 60% but have 70% disability with 30% left. you get an additional 10 % for hearing loss, that is only 3% of the 30 so you are 63% with 27% left and are paid at the 60% level because the payment is at 65 or better to go to 70 for pay. You get an additional 10 % for snotty nose, that is 10 % of the remaining 27% or 2.7 giving you 65.7 % and you are paid for 70% and have 24.3 % left. another 10% disability gives you 2.43 % for pay with no increase and 21.97 left another 10% gives you 2.197 still under 75% to get paid for 80. See how it works. makes it real difficult to get to 70 unless you go in big chuncks of 20% or more and you have to have a lot of shit wrong to get in the 70 and above unless you get there in big chunks. That is why they are relooking at PTSD because the rating steps are currently 30, 50, 70 and 100%. My guess is that they will rerate PTSD sometime in the future to 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, and 100.

Here's your diagnosis:
1. Your math skills are exceeded only by your bilateral pre-degenative ocular osmosis, which means that you can't see that too much postage would have to be spent sending the 50 rolls of pennies, so send an money order in the proper amount instead.

It sounds like the VA math is similar to a hypothetical situation: suppose you are sitting on one end of a very long couch, and a winsome young lass is sitting on the other. You are allowed to move only one/half the distance between you, and only one move every two days. Theoretically, (and mathematically for you number crunchers), you would never get there, but with sufficient patience, you would get closer enough for practical purposes.

Seriously, it sounds like some truly anal bean counter has taken over the controls of that accounting department of the VA, and things need to change drastically.

After reviewing your hypothetical situation....when calculating the distance traveled between the young lass and myself which is half the distance every 2 days, This measurement must be taken from the same body part to the same body part with each move or your theory will not work.
For the first time I must agree with you that you will eventually get close enough to reposition the bodies along with the appropriate appendages to satisfy all your needs

Your counseling session is only half complete, regardless of your obvious suck-up in agreeing with me. Go back and review the pictures with the big letters I sent you several weeks ago, and you will note, I'm certain, that "...measurement[s] must be taken from the same body part to the same body part with each move..." is a physiological impossibility. Look carefully at the male figure. Now look carefully at the female figure. Do you notice any differences? Now, point to one of the differences. I SAID POINT, DON'T TOUCH! Even you will notice that in very remarkable instances, there are NO "same body parts" where you were just pointing.

After reviewing the photo's I must disagree with your findings regarding the comment that there are no same body parts. My measurements in the hypothetical situation was being performed from kneecap to kneecap of which I could find no difference.
I do realize my ability to "suck up" definitely needs some improving, which is the reason why I'm here......Cost is no object. Just send me a bill when you're done.

Take a deep breath, and ask yourself if you really think anybody will believe that you were looking at 'kneecaps.' Given your proclivity for less a sanitary body parts, I hardly think so. It seems that my initial assessment of your making progress was incorrect, so you're back to the original point. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200. But I do. Kindly remit.

And I have 30 percent PTSD, plus 10 percent for each foot in diabetic neuropathy. That should be 50, but for some reason I'm rated at 60 not complaining mind you, but I am baffled at the new math
