I have to question #9. Didn't Robert Schuller coin that phrase before Schwarzkopf?

Steve

You could be thinking of the quote "Most people who succeed in the face of seemingly impossible conditions are people who simply don't know how to quit"......Robert Schuller

Or maybe "I would rather attempt something great and fail than attempt to do nothing and succeed".....Robert Schuller

I have number three on my office wall and right next to my favorite, ?Life?s battles don?t always go to the biggest and strongest, sometimes those who win are those who think they can?, author unknown, maybe Packo, and gift from my Ma. Then I have a poster of an iceberg with the caption ?No great thing is created suddenly.? Good thoughts whilst girding up to go out again.
Ike had to be at once a Saint, ogre n? genius to keep Patton and Montgomery on the same team and both on a short choke chain, and think that would be impossible for a mortal man.

I don?t know, Keith, WJC is plenty brilliant, but maybe the difference is in the application of brilliance to righteous purpose and cause. No contest there at all, so agreed on that part of the issue.
