Sis,
If the Texas immigration situation gets bad enough, then Superscout and I are gonna re-occupy the Alamo. I dunno what kind of arsenal he has, but I know what I have. We'll get more than 600 this time. We'll get 600 before breakfast. Couple of questions about Oklahoma for ya... What Native American tribes are indigenous to Oklahoma? Who are some famous people from Oklahoma?

Most of my family hail from Oklahoma, not to far from Tulsa and the other side not to far from OKC. Its a beautiful state. I love my Texas but at least half my blood runs from Oklahoma.
The first time I ventured up to the parts my family were from(still are there, if there is a person with my last name usually I amm related somehow to them) one of the things that caught my eye was this.....lots of dead animals on the road and the funniest thing was the armadillos that people had propped up in there paws. |

On a flyin' trip to TX with my Sis long ago, she spotted something in the road and asked if it were an armadillo. I busted out laughing. "That's a tire tread from a gosh darn truck Sis! Are you telling me I have rode all the way from the MO-OK line to the TX-OK border line and you can't see the difference between a tire tread and a armadillo! Pull over and let me drive!" Ai yi yi! I have a thousands stories I could tell about that girl and her adventures. She was an original. And country when country wasn't cool.

Sis,
I just realized something that jolted me... There's people still living that were born in Indian Territory...before Oklahoma became a state! Wow!

Famous folks from Oklahoma...
Will Rogers and Jim Thorpe. Well, hey, that's plenty of "famous" right there! (Both of Native American ancestry by the way) A lot of notable athletes... An astronaut... Some movie stars... A lot of cowboys (go figure)... Black Kettle... Geronimo... Quanah Parker
