The gap between conservative and liberal is widening. Both groups feel threatened by the other. How much oppression can one group take before it rebels? I hope to be alive in 70 years and tell the rest of you.
I don't see a collapse in the next 20 years but if things continue we could see a collapse within in the next 50 - 100 years.
Lots of angry folks out there on both sides of the issues. If respect, dialogue, and a little compromise doesn't take place we could see political collapse.

This Government Of The Politician, By The Politician and For The Politician has been worthless, meaningless & taxing (both ways): "For We The People" and/or The American Citizen/Taxpayer, for about the last 50 or so years.

For many foreign nations & foreign nationals, it's a whole different story.
