Yup! You're right! NYY didn't have ALL the heroes... Sandy Koufax, Carl Erskine, Don Drysdale, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, Jackie Robinson, and...umm...Don Zimmer. :shock: Who can forget the '56 Dodgers?

Yankees manager
Kind of figured it would have been Giradi. He has some manager experience. With all the people the Yanks are going to lose like A-Rod (goes where the money is), Andy Petitie turning down $16 million and possibly retire, still no decsion on Jorge Posada, I don't think the Yankees can win next season either. Going to be interesting though. I am a die hard Yankee fan since 1955 when I was 7 years old. My favorite Yankee of all time of course was Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, and the entire 1961-67 Yankees. Will never forget the summer of 1961 with the home run chase between Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.
