Darrel re-read history Nixon didn't go to VN it was LBJ, I'm glad he went to see the troops but it's still a PR thing can't blame him for that that just the nature of the beast. I still say BIG FU-KING DEAL.

Default Morale Boosting

Tom hit it right on the head when he indicated that the whole point we should be applauding is the increase in our warriors' morale. It ain't, and shouldn't be political. They're OUR warriors, and they didn't enlist via a voter registration card. Hooray for OUR warriors and for anything that boosts their morale!!!

To All Above.

I guess I can add something on the subject.. I'm pleased that "little sappling 43" woke up and thought of a good thing to do for the troops.. go pay a visit.. It does help with the troop morale and shows he has a back bone to face the possibility of getting blow out of the sky like any other military man.

And in my opinion,, it was all a photo and PR prop for the 2004 election..

The way they pulled it off was remarkable, and I feel with this act, they could win the Irag war with just the same maneuvers.
Stay tuned, for something else down the road.... like right before the Republician convention, they will find all kinds of WMD in Irag.. Of course you may want to know how they got there.. from that famous storage facility in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Enough said.. I could get in trouble..

I really don't apreciate being called something less for my views,or petty, I didn't say anything bad about any of ya'lls views. All presidents from the past attended what funerals they could of US soldiers, this president made the decision not to. I'm Sorry if you think what I said is petty, but its just how I feel and if you have a problem with that, its YOUR problem not mine.

I do belive what he did was a good thing yesterday, for whatever reason he did it, it helped with moral. But there are other things more important.
