It's Doc Fred, I will have to say a caveat to Sid's statement. There were no felonies that we can remember. It was better than ever and Sid had his "graduation" party for getting 100%. This wold not have been possible without David and Bernadette's support. Thank you form the bottom of my heart.

Default LARRY aka MORTARDUDE

HI GANG !!!!

This has been the best 5 consceutive days of my life !! Sid is truly a complex and fascinating individual. There are four of us at Hal's house...We are planning to go to Murfreesboro, Stones River, and Shiloh, then home on to memphis on 4/28. We are going to try to link up with Scott Gatewood ( Topp ) and have a party at my house so I can get another star :-)

Kudos to David and Bern for creating this site, Arrow for finding it, and all my rowdy friends and their prayers for these past 5+ years.

I have my second PCT / PTSD interview with my wife on April 30, so remember me.

I am seriously thinking of writing a novel about Sid. A movie will be in the works shortly thereafter. Who should play Sid ?

Love you all,

Larry

Larry I don't think Don Knott's is busy now adays. and wally cox could play LT but if you get someone like Clint Eastwood to play him I might get scared and afraid to watch it. (LOL) movie about the life and times of psyco vets it does have possibilities.

Sid, John
I want to thank you both, It was the BEST!!!! The food and drinks were excellent! (excluding that Polish moonshine Andy had
LOL) The stories were intreiging, $hit I thought I had it hard, I was riding the gravy train compared to you guys. But most of all, meeting everyone for the first time was unphuckingbelievable!!!!!
I have one request for the next Psyco Vet Campout.
When I was leaving I ran into several sand storms going down Psyco mountain which really screwed up my vision. The only fix is another east coast Psyco Vet Reunion.
Sid Say hello for me to one of the most colorful characters there
Mustache Mike.

To everyone there I say THANK YOU!!!!!

Default A profound thanks,...

...The hardest thing to do was get on that bird, and leave,...

...As emotionaly challenged as I am, I want to say that being in the company of the finest men ever to walk this earth, and to be accepted as an equal, is the greatest honor anyone has ever bestowed upon me,...

...I'm having a real hard time today with those same damn sandstorms, and you all have given me a life time of good memories of which I can never repay,...

...Thank you all for giving me back a sense of dignity, and I love you all,...

And the beat goes on-

The book on the Psyco Vets spring rally cannot be completely closed yet.One detachment(James,Larry, and Doc. Fred)has yet to disband and is presently cutting a rather broad swath(they get lost a lot)through Tennessee. They did me the very great honor of stopping by my place in Normandy.Given the fact that Normandy consists of about 3 sq. blocks,it is quite likely that they are the first individuals in recorded history to ever become lost here.James is a fast mover and managed to log some time lost in Shellbyville prior to being lost in Normandy.Given the rareity of unknown trucks in Normandy,it wasn't hard to recover Doc. Fred and James but Larry was a bit of a problem.About the time we were going to put him down as MIA a call came in from one of the neighbores that there was a stranger who seemed a bit odd haveing a deep conversation with his wife and did I know what was going on?Still tryin to figger out how he knew to call me.Went down there and found Larry happily discussing the properties of obscure herbs with the lady(an herbalist).Thought I was gonna hafta drag him away.

Once we were all together I introduced them to my wife and daughter and had a truly enjoyable visit then I took them around and showed them a little of my AO.Would not have wanted James to go through life without haveing visited the OTHER Normandy beach.Took them down to Cortner Mill (discribed in "A Favorite Place"awhile back)where Doc. Fred caused us some concern examineing the vegitation on the slippery bank above the millrace.

When last seen the detachment was headed for Murfreesboro.Sure do hope they make it there.Or-failing that-that they manage to get lost in interesting places.
