Red face FLIPS & FLOPS

I firmly believe that you can pick any two politicians and match either of them Flip for Flop. They're POLITICIANS.......that's what they do. I'm sure that alot of these flip flops noted from both sides are significant. However, what's so bad about changing one's mind? People do it all the time. Isn't that why they run polls, especially in an election year, every few weeks asking the same question? Or why the Senate or Congress will vote on an issue several times before it's accepted? To see how many people flipped or flopped? What's so bad about voting for, or doing or not doing something that you said you would do, only to decide that maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all. "Gee, that didn't work worth a shit! I sure won't do, or back, that again." Isn't that what we pay these people for? Just curious.

I see your point frisco. I think it's fine to debate and even disagree on political matters. One thing we've got to do though is to remember that we are all on the same side, or at least should be. Heck, I don't think I would agree with anything politically with Gimpy, bit he has a place in my heart. Love ya Gimp!!

Flip and Flop all-at-once: "The truth, which is what elections are all about, is that the tax burden of the middle class has gone up while the tax burden of the middle class has gone down." John Kerry, Aug. 25, 2004

Flip: "I think we can significantly change the deployment of troops not just there [in Iraq] but elsewhere in the world. In the Korean penisula perhaps, in Europe perhaps. There are great possibilities open to us." John Kerry, Aug. 1, 2004
Flop: "I want to say something about the plan that the President announced on Monday to withdraw 70,000 troops froma Asia and Europe. Nobody want sto bring troops home more than those of us who hve fought in foreign wars. But it needs to be done at teh right time and in a sensible way. This is not that time and or that way." John Kerry, Aug. 18, 2004

If Kerry had been in charge of the Iraq campaign-

"Attack!Attack!!ATTACK!!!ATT...no...wait...stop...c ome back...Retreat!...RUN!!...HIDE!!!"

Not worth it to find out,but I've always wondered what kind of Rules of Engagement a self-confessed war criminal would come up with.

Default Hal...

You usually come up with some really super-duper questions.

However, and until you can get Gimpy or any other DNC Broken Record types to answer such questions,...you're not really that great a questioner.

Just kiddin, since that would be asking too much of anyone. After all, such can't even be done by journalists on Nationwide TV.

In fact, if you could get such fanatically defensive Leftists to give you the time of day, without first vehemently defending, ranting and raving incessantly over and over and over about their foreign-favoring and tax-the-hell out of ALL AMERICANS Party Line, I'd consider you a-damn-genius,...at minimum.
