Pitiful is certainly how I would describe them. Here's another description:
Yankee's: Those not born or raised in the South.
Damn Yankees: Those that come down here to visit.
GOD DAMN YANKEES: Those that come down and stay.
Just heard one at the car dealership trying to impress everyone that he just spent $400,000 for a Marsh Front Lot. He was real proud of that until the Service Mgr told him, "Wow, mine was only $100,000, but then again, I got a house on mine". The poor Yankee went from pasty white to ashen color. Yep, maybe this kinda stuff is our reparations. Doc, they do build on the marshes then sue each other for view stuff. It's really funny. They all think they "discovered" our place.
Andy, we can't thank you enough for the 11 years of "reconstruction". If it wasn't for that kindly program, we wouldn't have had the Klan.
