Yup, been there... They're all different though. Everyone has a different divorce. That's why there are so many of us who can help. Mine was terrible for the first four years after the divorce. My ex took me to court for anything she could find when she got pissed at me. She even used my 5 year old against me. I've been recording every telephone conversation for the past 5 years in case I need it in court. I have every child support payment automatically wired to er account so I have a record of it. I make sure I document everything. It's better now; not so violent. Hope everything goes well and fine. And I wish you the best in finding that "one." Companionship may be the way to go. Larry, best wishes to you, brother. I've been by myself for almost 20 months now. Our divorce was final last November 18.
It's a hard thing, especially after so many years. I've also been hired many times to represent people in divorce. I've seen a lot of them. They are all sad, even the simple uncontested ones. It's almost a year since the legal tie was broken. I've dated a few women. It gets lonely at night sometimes, but it's better every day. Hang in there bro' the best is still to come!

Larry I can't say I know how you feel, my wife has had me on the straight and very narrow for 40 years now, but as everyone has said your going to be fine and if it gets to scary get a bottle of bourbon and go sit on a hill for a while
 and it will pass :ek: .

Congratulations.
Divorce is like getting a bad tooth pulled.Hurts.There's a big place where somthin's missing. After a while you realize that the main thing that's missing is pain. And sometimes ya get a new one. Be well,Larry. We love ya!
