Just spoke to Sid, John , Bob K., and Original Tom [Packo], up on the mountain awhile ago. Everyone was still standing. And according to Packo, Bob K. was cheating at shuffleboard. I seem to remember him doing the same thing at the '05 Campout.

Anyway, HAPPY B'DAY, SID! You're the first of the Boys of '47, and I'm right behind you. Turning 60 bothers me a little bit, but reminding myself that you'll always be older than me softens it a little bit .

Well....survived another trip to the mountain. More about the fun to be posted on the Pysco Mtn/Vietnam thread.

Great fun for everyone! (except the tornado I drove through on the way there....scary moment!)

Would suggest if you haven't seen "Second Hand Lion" with Duvall and Caine...rent it and make sure you pay attention to the signs leading to their home. Bob will post pics when he gets home and gets them developed.

Just walked in myself after 3 great days on the mtn. For some reason, I became the designated driver for Packo. That wasn't bad, but... when he asked me a question, I had to respond with "yesum boss!!!". You southern boys have a strange way of showin your friendship.

Sid I hope you had a swell time. Note: Don't worry 60 comes and it goes as quickly did all the other round numbers that I think I remember. I will make 61 God willing in May. Had the royal 9' reamer on the 21st of last month. I'm better now - Thanks - but it was an experience.

I take it you already had a mountain expedition? Came early this year I though it was around March or April?

We had to take a post-graduate course in social-behavior etiquette, which included watching Packo dance to "My Girl" as I drove his drunk ass around, before the official choir practice, prayer breakfast and midget toss in April.
