Larry,
You would be interested to find out what is being fought over in the Congo and what all the butchering, cannibalism and terror is all about. Those countries that produce and market cell phones certainly know what is on the plate and who is fighting over the cash flow, but they remain curiously silent and above it all, eh. These days the warring factions don?t even bother with ideology statements or a political arm of some ?front?. With AK?s going for $8 bucks ea, and an abundance of orphaned children for the grabbing, there is ?war on the cheep? happening and it is epidemic. Scamp

So,as the super power and the leader of the free world, the United States of America is to sit idly back within her shores and meekly observe a tyranical beast systematically murder and rape his own populace? You`re all so entranced with your Blame America First bullshit and your hatred for W that you can`t see the forest for the trees.I always thought you liberals were supposed to be the party of compassion. So,where`s all your warm and fuzzies for the half million poor bastards that Saddam gassed and butchered, huh?Compassionate my ass![/ QUOTE] Puke? What, huh, surely you jest? Where was YOUR "compassion" when as Larry said the murderous rampage took place in Rwanda? And Siera Leone, the Congo, Burma, Serbia, the other Baltic states and in North Korea, Iran, Saudia Arabia and the dozens of OTHER nations where similar atrocities take place? So then, using YOUR "ANALogy"...as "leader of the free world" we should send our brave young American troops to ALL these other "places" to shed the precious blood and DIE to help show our "compassion"? Wasn't it folks like YOU (and many, many others around here as well) who just 5 short years ago were CONDEMNING President Clinton for "nation building" and sending troops into harms way for "simliar" situations???? And I beg your pardon................but didn't I see one of YOUR "Compassionate CONservative" leaders (Donald Runsfeld) while serving under President R. Reagan shaking HANDS with that "tyrant" and bloodthirsty a$$hole Sadam H. after he assured SH that We (Americans) would make SURE he had the weaponry and enough "GAS" to take care of the Iranians in the 1980's??? Talk about being a HYPOCRITE! Where the hell was YOUR compassion THEN?? Just like I said in my previous post. "The more compelling the truth of an arguement, the angrier becomes the radical right of the Republican Party. That?s because the one thing they loathe more than liberals is the truth. And the quickest way to be damned by them as a "lousy liberal" is to tell the truth. Whether it's from a "moderate" conservative or one of a more liberal thinking. These "new" republican right-wingers embrace a world view that cannot be proven wrong because they will admit no evidence to the contrary. They want your position to validate their belief system and when it doesn?t, God forbid..............it MUST be those nasty ole "liberals" again trying to undermine the supposed "truth" of right-wing propaganda. And THAT makes ME a lot more nauseous and ready to "puke" than ANYTHING a "LIBERAL" may come up with!

That's funny as hell. Col. Kurt Fuller told me that 99% of the insurgents that the "Falcon Brigade" killed were Saudi's, Syrians. and Iranians with a mixture of Brit's, Dutch and other "Naturalized" arabs. I tend to believe Col. Fuller because he was on the ground there. The General never heard a shot fired in anger!
