Hi Nang,

I recall hearing something about the Puff n Stuffs writers consuming LSD. I was kid watching it so if there was something freaky about it, I wouldn't have known any different. If I saw the shows today, perhaps, it would be noticeable. I don't remember much about the shows. I just remember they were enjoyable for a 4, 5, 6 year old kid(s).

How about Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street. Yes, I watched both.

Eddie's Father was a neat show too. The show was about a single father raising his son.

Sanford & Son was way too funny. Sanford pretending he was going to have the "Big One" meaning heart attack. And his sister inlaw, can't remember her name, hitting him upside his head with her purse. LOL!!

Loved Eddie's father. Fred Sanford's sister in law was Esther.(she just passed away recently I think) Loved Mr Rogers - but I draw the line at Mr Dress-up....speaking of Michael Jackson. I don't know if you guys had Soupy Sales or Captain Kangaroo where you are. I loved Red Skelton and Jackie Gleason and Ed Sullivan of course. Face it - they hardly make any good family shows anymore.

Talking I'm so old we didn't even have . . . . .

I'm so old we didn't even have a TV until I was 12. We were so far out in the sticks we couldn't get a descent signal for a few years. So, "my meaningful" TV watching didn't begin until I was in high school, then it was the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dodgers.

Now its the Seahawks, Sonics, Mariners. Maybe that's whats wrong with me. No meaningful cartoon watching as a kid.

Oh yeah, Vince Lumbardi, Bart Starr and the first SuperBowl. That was Football !!

Back to the thread... What was the name of the tv series with Marlo Thomas' dad, Danny. Something about "Daddy".

Then there was I Remember Mama, The Peoples' Choice (with the talking dog, Cleo), December Bride, Father Knows Best, Ozzie & Harriet, Our Miss Brooks, The Real McCoys, Wanted-Dead or Alive, Palladin, Gunsmoke, The Bob Cummings Show, The Gale Storm Show, Jack Paar. Whoa..thatsa soma lista there!
We didn't have a TV until I was about twelve, but we used to go to my Grandma's to watch some of the shows.
First TV I remember was the McCarthy-Army Hearings, and the Kefauver Crime Hearings.

[b]Hey, Advisor! You mentioned the program, so here's da question:

Who were the singing stars of "Your Hit Parade?" (This is a memory test, so let us know if ya cheat and do an internet search.)

I remember three: Giselle McKenzie, Snooky Lansen and Nanette Fabre. And, I didn't look 'em up.
