Marine investigated in insurgent death

You really have to feel for these guys fighting over there. they have two enemies; one in front of him with a gun, and one behind him with a camera.

Geez just the day before this happened the marine was wounded in the face from shrapnel by a insurgent that was not dead but wounded who had some sort of explosive device, it killed two other marines, and wounded the one. What do they expect from these guys, the marine just might have remembered what happened the day before.

My Pa got caught up in a similar deal in the immediate aftermath of WWII in Europe. He was 1st I.D. and while awaiting his turn to be sent back to the US he was temporally assigned to POW duty. He is fluent in German and his role was to listen in but dummy up, and report any suspected SS hiding among the usual Fritzes. A newly identified Waffin SS came at him with a hand-made knife and Pa finished him with a 45, there and then. The Army had him out of Germany on the next plane west to England where he had to go through an investigation and hearing, etc. He thought for sure he was on his way to the Pacific as a new Pvt. (From Buck Sergeant) but nothing bad happened except for all the hassle, BS and loss of rotation spot. Except for that incident, I might be a little older, LOL.
