I can only imagine how proud you are. He is what this country is all about. We are all filled with pride and inspiration that he has chosen to follow in the footsteps of another excellent warrior and fine gentleman as is his father.
My prayers and thoughts are with him and all the other fine young Americans over there and all around this world.

I send packages over to our men and women too. There has been somethings I couldn't send cause they said it would never get thru customs anyways...

Sid said that Phil?s PX bought the ranch. So I got him a carton of smokes (from my PX) and threw in some matches. Phil is EOD right, but they won?t let him have matches.(?)
Then I was thinking about how hard it is to get rid of a summer cold, especially with all that sand you might breath in, your throat could get scratchy. So, sent him some New England cough medicine, also known as Allen?s Ginger Brandy, they pulled that out, even though it was clearly marked, ?Cough Medicine?. Also sent a pair of lacy black nylons (still in the package). Attached a note saying, ?Have these filled?. And then told him we used nylons during the dry season as filters. I didn?t mention anything about that guy from 4th platoon, won?t tell you guys either. Stay healthy, Andy
