Aluminum bolt
The guy that came to my unit had a sand bag with a bunch of black M-16 bolts in it, He said he was there to get the Aluminum bolt and replace it with a cast Iron bolt. The One I took out of my GUN was Aluminum color and about 1/2 the weight of the black one I put back in my gun. I never did a metal test to see if it was aluminum, the light weight and the Aluminum color and him saying it was Aluminum was good enough for me.

Boats,
Those are nice mortars! What are they, about 9 pounders? During sieges in the 16th -18th centuries, sappers and miners had to dig trenches until they were deemed close enough, then the mortars were brought in to lob explosive balls over the bastions. Damn dangerous work, but worth the overall effort when they got withing range.
