This is Jonathan Larry's son.....Dad says he is ok. He does not know when he will be out. Special thanks to Griz for his letter. There are other cards and letters that I will be taking to him this weekend. All of the cards, letters, prayers, and thoughts are very precious to him. The VA is taking good care of him and he has no complaints. May God Bless

Thanks for the update.. Larry and his family are still in all our thoughts and prayers.. went fishing today and was just thinking about how we hadn't heard anything in a couple days or so.. This is Jonathan again....Looks like Dad will be out on Friday. He is doing OK. He finally got the cards and letters and wanted to say thank you to Griz, Tina, Gimpy, Curtis, Revwardoc, and Chilidog(Thanks for the puppy card - He really enjoyed it). He had a visit from Topp Gatewood yesterday and he really enjoyed seeing him. He says thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers and best wishes. He hopes to be online again soon.

I am out of the hospital. My experience with the VA was that the service was excellent, the doctors were some of the best I have ever had, and even the food was good !!
Will probably not be posting much for awhile. Have a lot of personal issues to deal with. My best friend on my ward was a young former Marine who shared with me his experiences from the initial invasion in Iraq in 2003. There has been a lot posted on here about PTSD. As you know I was AWOL for awhile, but now back again, and just sorting through the pages and rooms here again. Welcome home once more my friend!
Glad to hear your experience at the VA hospital was worthwhile. Same...same here as far as I'm concerned also. They have made tremendous improvements over the past 10 years or so. Let us know if there's anything you need, or if there's anything we can do to help out in any way. God Bless,
