I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!! All those crying voices yearning for a counseling session, with all the anal undertones sneaking out. Now, for all that this applies to, grab your bottle of Windex and a clean paper towel, polish your plastic belt buckles, and then you can see where you're going better. For the others, please hadn your brother the Windex, pull the splinter from your own eye, and send your counseling fees in small, unmarked bills.

Brice
I owe the surgeon for the opindectomy I had done. (Its a small piece of plexiglass I had installed in my stomach so I can see where I'm going when I have my head up my ass)....Being a poor underclass person, will you accept rolled pennies?

Bobk: rolled pennies accepted, but not on a "postage due" basis. Now go polish your plexiglas.

Ron: your thread has been hijacked by some folks sorely in need of counseling!

Bob...would love to come to your rescue, but being under-educated like I am, I am not sure how. Maybe a good E-4 could lead the way for me!

If I made E-4 twice, does that make me an E-8?......

Post Ron,

I read statistic somewhere that most who join come from families in the lower 1/3 economically.
Surprising fact is that during Vietnam, draftees had a higher education over all than those who joined. You could get an educational deferrement until you graduated. So, a lot of guys didn't get drafted in the early part of Nam until they had an education to some degree.
And Ron,
I believe that the majority of the officers I worked with were fine men. Of course there are jerks in every field. I remember when I getting out of the Army I went to turn in my wool shirt and pants which had been issued to me for guard duty at Ft. Devens. This supply Sergeant said I stolen those wools because they weren't on my supply chart. I beng an E-5 said, if I was stealing them why am I turning them in. Then he said, what made him really mad was that if he took my wools it would mess up his entire books and he wasn't about to have his books messed up. So he said get those things out of here. I did and took them home. They made good hunting pants for years. But, he was such a jerk and the error was made by his supply staff and not me, but he was toooooooo little of a man to admit that some one in his supervision had made a mistake. He was a real jerk. But I got some nice wool pants out of the deal.

I used that wool shirt for hunting many years before I out grew it. [I wasn't poor when i got drafted at 19. The selative service did not discriminate.] [i THINK I STILL HAVE MY DRAFT CARD]
