OK..... James here is the deal ..... There is plenty of time to do this up right. Have Dan give me a call in Memphis. my home number is 901.386.7244 ....He and I can get together and plan the logistics at this end and then we can drive east and meet you and Fred in Shiloh. I am retired as of COB today ( 4:00 PM CST )...so am footloose and fancy free..... My oldest son has got a job ( Praise God !!!! ), so it looks like I will be driving to Ellijay by myself ( bummer ). I may leave as early as Sunday, Monday or Tuesday ( 18th, 19th or 20th ) and stay with my aunt in Nashville. I also have 2 cousins who live there...so I am fully flexible..just fill in the blanks and tell me the when, where and how. I am getting a cell phone tomorrow and a brand new wi-fi computer as well !!!!!

I am also going to open an international business called "LARRY NUCKOLLS, INC."

Tuber = Potato, LT will have to embellish.

Ramps (unsure of spelling) = A wild garlic onion that grows in the mountains of North Georgia, on North Facing Slopes and above 3,000 feet. Pretty tasty when fried and mixed with scrambled eggs. Will ward of Vampires and attack Bassetts and, unless you are eating them also, most human beings. Harvest about the same time as Polk Salad. Special warning, You must carry your own beer to the Ramp patch and empties out, bag to put Ramps in, Small digging tool. Ramp patch is about ahalf mile into the woods from the road, will seem like 2 miles going in (uphill) Will probably go Saturday morning.

I'll be leaving from my daughters house in Buford, GA. Saturday morning (24th) and I am going State Rd. 20 over towards Cumming, GA. to pick up some ribs, Bar-B-Que, and Brunswick stew for everyone at one of my favorite places called "Pappy Reds BB-QUE" close to GA. State Rd. 400.. Can't I go up GA. 400 to another state highway and come in the "back door" to Ellijay rather than going all the way over to Highway 515??

I used to know the name of that road, but it's been a while now and I've forgotten the way? Can you give me directions from 400 over that way?

Go up Ga 400 and turn left (west)on to hiway 53, go thru Dawsonville until you hit hiway 183 North and turn right (north) go on 183 until you end at hiway 52 and turn left (west) take 52 into Ellijay. when you come into Ellijay you will come to a stoplight turn left across the bridge and then 50 yards turn right onto hiway 282. See the driving directions for driving on 515 for the rest. For those of you NASCAR fans Dawsonville is the home of Bill Elliott. Awsum Bill from dawsonville.

I can't make plans for Dan--I think he may actually be flying or driving the other way. I think we'll probably just do a get together in Memphis on the 28th or 29th, we're still negotiating on this

Horrible news form the war front: THE WOMAN is horning her way into this trip at least the last part of it. The dang woman caught me vulnerable--I mean naked--and wouldn't let go of certain things untill I agreed. So she's coming to Baton Rouge for the Zydeco on the 1st and to Jazz fest. tried to ditch her last time but she was too smart. she'd make a good lrrp if she could lose the compassion--here's the proof; she thinks we should have a stripper too
