Default Thanks Sid

Now I remember. Been by Bill Elliotts place many a time. Shot some pool in the Dawsonville pool hall a few times with some of his friends. Great trout fishing in the Amicalola River just northwest of there.

See y'all there!

Default Provisions

I'll let you guys know later, I am leaving about 4am Saturday to try and shoot some wild boar for the party. 2 of us are going and we are going to try and get several pigs. Once we get on the mountain and figure how many we need to feed we'll go shopping for eggs ETC. We will have lots of Venison and Maybe Gimpy will catch some trout. Gee guys I sure am looking forward to this.

Default Our "band of Brothers"!

I posted this over on another thread, but thought it more "appropriate" over here!
(I took a few "liberties" with Shakespears poem.)
#########

He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is another day:'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say 'These wounds are mine from Viet nam.'

Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names.
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Paco the airborne, Gimpy and Mortardude, Andy,
Scout and DMZ-LT, Sid, Doc, 82Rigger, Bob, Frisco, RAZZ and James et all! (I didn't have room for all of us, I apologize!)
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.

This story shall the good man teach his son;
And memories of the Nam shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he that day that shed his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:

And gentlemen in America now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon those days.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

God Bless ALL our brothers & sisters!

Sid and John,

Even you guys will have your hands full.

Take movies, It should be a riot. (literally)

I wish I could be there but alas - it is just the wrong time of the year for me.

James :

If your "woman" comes along, I am sure she and my wife would get along just fine. If she is interested in shopping, jewlery, The Home Shopping Network, pottery, and eating out.......

I am totally flexible..I will be driving by myself, and will probably leave on 4/21 and spend the night in Nashville with my aunt and cousins and get into Ellijay sometime on 4/22, probably late..we can work the trip back any way you want to. Is Fred going to Shiloh too ? I would like to see my brother-in-law and his family in Huntsville, but it isn't really necessary....Let me know.

Larry
