I am so sorry. Miscarriage does not begin to describe that loss. It is a death and the mother never looks at it any other way. The dad too in my case.

My condolences to your son and daughter-in-law. Kath and I went through the same thing many years ago. It's tough and a huge disappointment for awhile, but they're young and this will pass.

MK,
Sorry to hear this. I believe the man above does things for a reason. Although it's a terrible thing to have happen, there may have been something wrong. I've been through two. My condolences to the family. Steve

The story...
They found that the problem was she got pregnant while on the pill. She contnued to take it for about two months until the pregnancy was detected. The doctor told her that the placenta never properly attached to the uterine wall and was eventually sluffed of in about the 12th week. So yeah there would have likely have been problems had it managed to go close enough to term for birth. It was the pregnancy itself that was kind of a fluke. A little "super sperm" on young SSG Jeff's part.
They are feeling better. I talked to them both yesterday. They had been out with friends, so it's getting better. Thanks for everone's wishes. You are a great bunch of guys. I'm going to by golly make it to psycho mountain. Maybe at least the west coast version. I do have a new-to-me rig, an old Forest Service Truck and 91 Chevy S-10 4X4. Keep the Faith!
