Would you like to quote a Post where anyone said they taped their's, your reading comprehension is at an all time low. " Taped Mag's were a big thing at one time, as were loading them with 18 rounds" Really hope you're able to read this but also that your little mind is able to comprehend. While we're on the subject of comprehension, would you care to tell us about your job as a Police Officer for a major civilian Police Department. Your shield number was? The department you worked for was? The state that certified you was? I think you've lied so much you can no longer remember what you said ( a Google search would help you re-fresh). Your creditability is also slipping to an all time low ( if you ever had any ). BTW - Isn't it about time to crawl back into your bunker and pull a sand bag over your head. Ken 11 Bravo |

Go back to the original post and see the context in which it was written. We were discussing military. ![]() >Anyone remember being told to bang the freshly loaded mag against
>something to seat the rounds, Old Wives tale or not ? I don't remember being told that, but I remember that I did it because I saw someone else do it at the Keesler AFB, MS range where we received M-16 training (we had M-14's prior to that -- training courtesy of USMC - Camp LeJeune, NC). It made sense to me . . . as long as you hit the back of the mag, not the front! And I sure do remember that red dirt. We called it laterite. Hard as a rock when dry; clingy slop when wet. "Vene! Well in closing let me say one thing, you're a Lying Sack of Shit, you're unable to separate fact from fiction. You've been unable to justify anything you posted in this group for years, you're unstable and need to seek professional help from a competent Doctor, this may help with your delusions. You need only to answer the questions in regard to your time as a Police Officer which can be easily verified, this would give you some creditability, as your creditability is zero. BTW - Where did you buy that DD-214? Ken 11Bravo > >Big thing where? Hollywood? I'm not confused in the least, the questions are real clear, it's the answers that are not forthcoming. Again, Name the State that certified you, your Shield Number and the Department you worked for. >Its right on my DD-214: "Early Separation For Police Work" ( Don't mean nothin ) >You figure out where... The last word in Web Crawling. How long did it take you to dredge up your citations? "Stepping into your territory" is a laughable bit of chest puffing. Are you now telling us that you were the only person in Viet Nam to expend vast amounts of ammunition during your tour? Even my cook on the boat probably shot more than you and I'll GUARANTEE he didn't dump any ammunition over the side. You are right about one tiny little thing. My rifle is different than the one you used. It has a chrome bore, round front hand guard and bird cage flash suppressor. Woop-tee-fucking-doo. I carried an M16A1 on my first tour in 1967. That's where I learned to pull that stupid little stunt. Since I bought the rifle in 1982, it has probably spent more time on the range than your entire tour. Thanks for the Stage Three message. -- Dave (The Other) |

I was right about the rifle that I had and I don't hear people screaming at me because I said that it was impossible to fire one round from an M-16 while it was switched to auto. All I hear is one lonely voice from a guy with an M-16A1 with an improved buffer to slow down the cyclic rate. I dumped my M-16 for an M-14 during my first tour and carried only an M-14 during my second tour... The M-14s that I used never malfunctioned and I used 20 rounds per magazine. Heavier - yes. Better - I thought so... At least the damn things worked... Did you get any mud on your boat? Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk... |

You are the pinhead that said " I was a rifleman and you are stepping into my territory." clearly indicating that no one but you has or had intimate knowledge of personal weapons used in Viet Nam. Did I get mud on the boat? Hell, yes. All those 9th Infantry troopers in the Delta left a hell of a mess. If it were over a couple of hours back to Dong Tam I even let them take showers. We just hosed the deck down with fire hoses after they debarked. Up north the Marines tended to drag a lot of sand and dirt aboard, unless of course it was cold and raining. Then it became mud. Your point? Oh, yes. I forgot. The above is a classic Stage Three message. To refresh the reader, the various stages of Dean Shultis' correspondence falls into five major categories. Stage One: I was there and I know everything. Stage Two: You are a fucking liar! What I think I saw was the only truth in Viet Nam. Stage Three: You are a wannabe! You obviously were not there. Stage Four: You were a murdering Officer/NCO/REMF/Marine/etc/etc. Stage Five: I am leaving this newsgroup never to return. Oh, yeah. Throughout stages one through five sprinkle a few Nyuk, nyuks liberally to indicate your wit. It really must suck to be you. -- Dave (The Other) |
