3rd Degree?

Are you sure? 1st degree is redness, 2nd degree is blisters, 3rd degree is basicly charred. Surely they wouldn't send him home so soon with 3rd degree burns. What percent of the body surface area are they saying is burned?

Lisa sent me her home phone but by the time I got it her Daddy was coming in the door from the hosptial. So I can't tell you anything except they sent him home. Love and prayers formy brotherand his precious Family..Sis

The little I know-

PHO and LT had been planning a trip to Nashville for yesterday; since they were traveling through my neck o' the woods we had agreed to meet for coffee and introductions.Apparently the night before the boys met up at the Dixie Psyco-vets Retreat,Carwash,and Bar&Grill to do a little work and an unfortunate combination of bonfire,firewater,and firelight resulted in Lt's tripping and falling into the fire.Lt. was taken to a local hosp.ASAP, and was taken to the Atlanta hosp. yesterday.Since PHO had my phone # he called to let me know they wouldn't be showing up and why.Figured you folks otta know.

Given the fact that wives have been known to read these posts the following disclaimer is in order:
If the above account differs in any respect from the story the boys cooked u...I mean the actual facts as related by the gentlemen involved it is purely my fault.

Thumbs up update on LT.
We just got back from the hospital- he had to put his arms in a whoolpool thing to loosen the tissue :ek: - he has 1st, 2nd, & 3 degree burns- he is going to have surgery Tuesday to get plastic surgery or something w/ artificial skin- I'm sorry- I'm really not exactly sure of all the exact details right now- we are playing it one hour at a time- he's really sick & I didn't really know the damage that was really done until this morning when they took the bandages off - I"m so proud of him- he was soooo strong & it was killing him! I only went off once to puke- so that was good! I'm printing out all this posts from his brother's & sisters for him to read since he is not able right now, so thank all of you for all your thoughts and prayers- I'll keep you posted as things occur! WE LOVE YOU!-Lil' LT.
