Come on people – let’s get real! We live in an era of great international turmoil and danger, and life upon this planet has never been a cake walk! And out of all of these eons of near oblivion and possible annihilation from global warfare, famine, and natural turbulence, for some amazing reason, we have still managed to survive (if but barely) as a species!

Could it be that our priorities are all screwed up? Or maybe it is just because our warlike disposition is one that leads in but a single final direction – who knows for sure?

“One thing, however, is a lead-pipe cinch! Unless we quickly begin to live together in global harmony, it is a 50/50 shot that our days upon this planet are indeed numbered?”

As a matter of fact, and considering the monumental blood-baths that we have engaged in over the eons, it amazes me that we have survived this long! And even though men of wisdom and foresight have warned about the potentiality of our species to self-obliterate (many times in ages past), the message just has not sunk in as yet (if ever)?!

So, for just how long do we really think that we will be able to get away with this deadly game of “Russian-Roulette”, before the whole damned planet blows up in our faces? Or do we genuinely believe that we are truly eternal?

“You know, maybe we are really something special”, especially considering our monumental accomplishments over the eons! “But then, pride still goeth before a fall – does it not?!”
