Vietnam reenacting anyone?
Well, we have really hit the big time now. As there are Civil War reenactors, there are now Vietnam reenactors. You can go to this web site and get just about anything you need to be a real artificial Vietnam sojer. Except for my rank insignia Sp/5. They have some pictures of several reenactions that have occurred. They are interesting in what they can do and also in what inaccuracies there are. Go to http://www.mooremilitaria.com
If you want to see something really wierd check out the photos sumitted by customers. Check out the 1st Cav Division (Russia) attacking charley in the snow! Oops. That was B Co, 1/27th Inf, 25th Infantry Division (Russia)

Thanks Doc, I think I've found my calling in life. I'll go to Poland and be a technical adviser for those guys. Those Russians are interesting. 1/27 Infantry, 25th Division are the Wolfhounds. In WWII there was a Russian Division (forget their number) who were also called the Wolfhounds. Wonder if that's the common thread.
Hey John, those pictures of the APCs bring back any memories? There one photo with a guy sitting behind an "iron maiden" wearing shades and a bush hat, holding onto his .50. Felt like, well, it felt like home! Stay healthy, Andy |

I checked out the site; I didn't see any mama-sans for sale saying, "Me so horny! Me love you long time!" And they call that authentic?!

It's imitation clap and you have to apply it yourself. I sent the Russian Guy an e-mail telling him I was flattered guys in Russia would reenact Vietnam. I told them their outfits were better than the US reenactors. I told him the clothing needed to be more worn and dirty. He sent me a reply: "Dear Fred, Thank youfor your e-mail. We are located and operated in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Group was formed for people who have a genuine interest in the Vietnam War. Our slogan is "In memory of all US soldiers who died in Vietnam". I feel great respect to you for your service and your heroism. Thank you! We are inviting you to our town."
I think that is just the nicest thing. I plan to answer him and invite him and his buddies to come to the Partiot Files and talk to us.
