[VIETNAM 1968]

The first thing I did, upon getting up this morning, was say my usual prayers for a complete recovery for Andy and Tiny. I don't know if they will do any good as I am not on the best of terms with the man upstairs but I will never stop saying them.

Almost Forty years after we all served in Vietnam, some of our Brothers are still suffering, and slowly dying, from the effects of their time spent In Country. OUR OWN COUNTRY IS SLOWLY KILLING THEM!! How you ask? By the widespread use of Agent Orange so many years ago!! Now Dow Chemical Company and Monsanto Chemical Company (the two leading producers of the chemical) won' t even admit to any exposure risks or dangers from the chemical's use or contact!! Even our own VA is slow to admit that there is a problem with the chemical's widespread use.

The saddest problem is that guys like Andy and Tiny are not even being recognized as casualties of the Vietnam War. Their names will never be included on The Wall. Even though their suffering and illnesses are just as real, and direct, as the physical ones they sustained in Nam many years ago.

To Andy and Tiny I wish you both a very special:

If Tiny dies he wants me to take his ashes to The Wall and spread them by the panel where a lot of guys that died from our unit are. Praying thats a long time coming
