Default Highway of death

Hey all,

FNG here - X Navy E5 (No smart remarks) - Enjoy the board.

I'm looking for a good high res pic of the famed "highway of death" - Kuwait turkey shoot

Heard about it from the shipboard (aircraft carrier) side - - must have been wild - almost wish I could have been there - - well no - sea duty sux !!

Appreciate any help on the photo

Default Do this....

go to "www.google.com"

put in ( with quotes)...."Highway of Death"

you will get probably more than you want to know about this...

much of the world thinks this was a war crime...

I believe it was directly responsible for us not finishing the job the first time..

Larry

Seems the rest of the world will use just about any excuse they can find to criticize the U.S. These animals raped and murdered defenseless Kuwaiti citizens at will and then expected to skip home to papa Hussein unharmed. They got what they deserved.

Wish we had continued, lest these kids get hurt now.

I did go to Google shortly after I made this post. And I was amazed at the organizations that used phrases such as "War Crime"

I think most of those people were not truly aware of the unspeakable crimes against humanity that were taking place from these people whom we attacked.

I really wasn't interested in the "grizzly" pictures that were posted. I know this happens in war. Perhaps they should have included some of the burned bodies of our own servicemen and some of the torture & rape victims of Kuwait as well.

As I am a photo hobyist - pictures tell many stories. I was more interested in the panorama type of pictures

I am a God fearing man and I truly hate to see ANY person die. But with some of the types of people that we as americans have been forced to deal with, there is sometimes a very hard and dirty job that must be done in order to secure our family's and nation's security.

As a vet and as a citizen - I fully supported the effort then as I do now. I ask God's blessing for the innocents (foreign and US) and God's Speed to all of our men and women who are in harms way so far from home.

I hope we can finish this work up soon & get our husbands, wives & familys back soon.
