Bragg builder installs model work station for FORSCOM, USARC headquarters
The two Headquarters for U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command each received a new addition this week, courtesy of builder Hensel Phelps Construction Company: a model work station demonstrating the new features a typical staff member will enjoy at their desks when they move to Fort Bragg, N.C. The models will permit Soldiers and employees a preview of their potential Fort Bragg workspace. The two model work stations are examples of the 2,773 work stations Hensel Phelps will install next year at the new five-story Fort Bragg combined headquarter building. "This is state of the art stuff, all new," said FORSCOM G-1 BRAC Planner Gary Goulden. "For example, the flexible computer-monitor arm will permit you to swivel and angle your monitor, to rotate it and bring it closer to you."
