this is pretty spooky...
I read the post about the water and picked up a book entitled "Into Cambodia", by Keith William Nolan..about the Cambodian Invasion in May 1970....and the page I opened up to described a Special Forces camp with an airstrip called Thien Ngon. It was the staging area for the Invasion, or Incursion...It says it sat in a flat clearing in a defoliated jungle...I distinctly remember being there for at least 7 days in the pouring rain and every one of us had the shits the whole time...I remember it because of the teeny-tiny rolls of C-ration toilet paper, and Brook Benton singing "It's A Rainy Night in Georgia" and Lord I do remember the smell...that was 33 years ago...damned chemicals...damned politicians...damned war...bastards...
