The Liar & Thieves Of Honor

Here we are, living in a country (Our Country) that prides itself upon honor and truth, and yet, through all of this and more, the high regard, respect and even esteem that comes with genuine honor, is often overlooked, abandoned, abused, or even stolen by some of the very same people who forever claim it as their own? So I put it to you again: “What liar or thief, that you have ever known, has ever had any real honor that they could genuinely claim as their own?”

Honor is not a commodity of convenience, nor is it something that you can turn on or off at will! Nor is it even something that you can claim as your own (where none exists), especially if it is embellished by a splendid-sounding title, advanced education, or even bogus accolades! Nor can a nameplate on an expensive desk, the praise of the dubious, or even history itself, grant for one that which is not now, and never has been, their own to claim ! “For after all is said and done, a thief and a liar still remains what they really are – and nothing more!”

But when that thief or liar is highly placed within the spectrum of mankind’s existence, the potential for lasting damage is forever a possibility. “More than that, in fact, it is usually a given!”
