KIRTLAND AIR FOCE BASE, N.M.--There’s a small number of Airmen tucked away behind locked doors that are keeping track of everything that’s going on at Kirtland Air Force Base 24-hours a day. This group of Airmen make up the 377th Air Base Wing Command Post. Which is responsible for maintaining a responsive and reliable 24-hour command and control system, linking higher command and control centers with local senior leaders, local operational and support agencies, and the base populace.
