As the great predictor.....I stand my ground! I will say to both you and Steve....wow, what a narrow strike zone.

2-2....what a game we'll be watching tonight.

This time your Road Side Corn Stands, "Buck an ear" will be in the lair of the Panther. Hopefully, our guys will show up, I know the Bucs will.

Default Mah Deah Blood Brother J.E.B. "Nostropackoes"

You'uns' will be a "standin your ground" in bout as deep as Phillis shortstop Jimmy Rollins was in all that mud at second base when B.J. Upton come'a flyin in feet first after stealing that base in that monsoon in Philly last night!

Our boys gonna "steal" their way into this championship yet!

If'n we can run that fast in the MUD............just wait and see's whuts gonna happen on a DRY field come game time!

Looks like it's gonna be tomorrow before we get to see those blind ass umpires get any more chances at making any more bad calls on balls and strikes (not to mention tag outs at third base).

Three more innings in Philly........then back to the "Trop" for two more in a row for the Rays!

You were right about one thing though........that WAS a REAL narrow "strike zone" for the Rays pitchers..........But NOT SO for Cole Hammels, hell he was getting "strikes" called when the ball was nearly a freaking FOOT OUT OF THE STRIKE ZONE?????----Whut the hell is up with that???? You don't reckon dem ole wascally umpires are secretly trying to help Philly win this thing by making calls go their way-----do ya????? Naw surely not!---YEAH, RIGHT!

Yo frand & blood brother,

Professor Gimpnosticator

PS-----I ain't worried bout my "Buck an Ears"........they's been knoed ta eat "kittykats" fer breakfast!-------Har-De--Har--Har!

Okay, who wazzit that said "Phillies in 5"?

Gotta say I'm real proud of the Rays...

Best season they EVER had,

won their Division,

won their League,

went to their first Big Show and gave the Phillies a run for their money.

Default There

truly are times that Nostropackos wishes he was wrong. I have no friends who are Philly fans and didn't really have a dog in this fight. My true friends are Rays fans....but it was the Philly's turn and I really thought their hitting/fielding would win out this year. Watch the Ray's come back next year....hopefully after they trade the Japanese guy at 2nd Base.

Big congrats to the Philly's but a huge congrats to the Rays coming from last to first.

The Philly's in 5...

Default My der suthern friend, the honorable Gimpinski

First of all, My deep condolences to the unfortunate loss of the world series by the Rays.
As usual, The Yankees (Not as in team, but as in area)win again which is not unusual considering the history of the north vs south.

Pack,

I have to say, your prognostication was on the money. Since the Yankees (the team) didn't make it this year, I didn't have any team either. Just wanted the underdog to come out on top. The Rays held their ground well. Congratulations to both.

As usual you'un's is ALL WRONG oncest again!

Most of dem "Phillys" boys on their roster are frum the GLORIOUS SOUTH (or South of the border)!............They's is just "visitin" up yonder in "Yankee Land" while playin fer dem "Phillys'". Most of you ole "Yankee" boys dun't knoe nuthin much about baseball anyway. Y'all would rather slip and slide all over them ole "frozen" cement ponds up yonder slappin at a damn HOCKEY PUCK!

We'un's can play baseball outside all year round down heanh in the GLORIOUS Southland! Try that up yonder in "Yankee Land" frum about late November thru March and you're not only likely to lose your baseballs in a freakin snowdrift, but your "other" balls as well to FROSTBITE!......

Anywho..........My Rays beat the livin TAR out of dem TWO-----countem-----TWO (2) great "Yankee" teams frum up north in their own divison to GET to the World series. The Bronx Bombers (the New Yawk Yankees) and the dasdardly, wascally MOST "northern" team in the American League, last years World Series Champs...the Boston Redsox!

BTW...How's dem ole "Colt" poneys doin this year, huh? Didn't a "Southern Team" (Tennesee Titans") just open up a big ole can of WHOOP ASS on your litltle bitty "Colts"?????

Just asking.

Yo Frand & Brother,

The Honorable General "Stonewall" Horatio Jedidiah Gimpski, III...Esquire

Default the Rightous Honorable Southern Gentleman Gimpinski

First of all dem Colts are made up primarily of southern boys, Thats why their on a losin' streak.......Besides, I've givin' up watchin' dem professional sports. I'd rather sit at home and drink some brown liquor, smoke a good stogie, eat cheeto's, and watch porn.
That reminds me of a bad joke.
Man walks into the doctors office complaining his pecker turned orange....
Doc asks, when did this happen?
Man replies, last weekend
Doc asks, Did you do anything different?
Man replies, Well....I watched some porn and ate some Cheetos
