He doesn't say. I think the only units that had mules were the 101st Airborne and the 1st Cav. There is no caption anywhere in the book about this picture but on reading his preface I saw he was in III Corps and in Cambodia in 1969-70. The 1st Cav was the only unit with mules near that area. There are some very disturbing pictures in this book. Nothing gory, just showing some of the idiocy that occurred. I'll probably show some more pictures as time goes by.

It's not her brother , Scamp but a good friend. Frank posts here as xgrunt I'll call him now and see. I have an album of pic's like this - that I try not to look at. Like the dude in the pith helmet though.

The dude in the pith helmet caught my eye,too.Death wish,mabe? I had a bunch of pics that I took ...some nice,others not so very nice.A guy in Tinseltown ripped me off.Said they were going into a magazine that he was publishing and I`d get a bi-line and royalties.GAWD..I was STUPID!
