We mourn the passing of a fine Veteran in Mr. Henry A. DelCogliano on Saturday November 24, 2001... Henry was a Veteran of WWII, At age 23, Mr DelCogliano enlisted in the United States Army. During the service, he had several accomplishments, most importantly, He was awarded "The Purple Heart" for wounds received outside of Dresden, Germany. He was a survivor of "The Battle of The Bulge" in Normandy, as well as other Battles throughout Europe. Sixteen years following the completion of his iniatal enlistment, Henry reenlisted in the Army for one more year of service. During his second enlistment, he utilized his vast experience to establish a branch of the USPS in Alaska. He ended his military service as a Sergent First Class... Henry, May you rest in peace, and Thank you for your dedicated service to this Nation... William C Giles, Service Officer Chapter #38 Troy, NY..
