Cold War links...
Sir's and Ma'am's!
As I just posted a reply to a post-thread, being about the Cuban Missile Crisis, I thought I would take the opportunity to also share some "info-sources" about the Cold War. After all, that is the subject of this subsection of the Patriotfiles-forum. Some of the below links, are from the same "main sources" as some of the links I posted for the Cuban Missile Crisis, though being another subpage from that "main source". I hope anyone whom reads this post, will find the below links, to be of both interrest, aswell as of educational use. Links are: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mtholyoke -Cold War: http://www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/intrel/coldwar.htm Globalsecurity.org -Cold War x2 (Superb infosource!): http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...oldwar-ops.htm http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/cold_war.htm Wikipedia -Cold War: Category:Cold_War USARMY Center of Military History -Cold War: http://www.army.mil/cmh/online/Bookshelves/ColdWar.htm ColdWar.org ("Everything" between the 1940s to the 1990s!): http://www.coldwar.org Silent Warriors The Cold War (Superb info-source!): http://www.silent-warriors.com George Washington Univ. For the young of today. The Cold War. "For educational purposes, stage 1"....
The below serie, was produced by the prized producer "Sir Jeremy Isaacs". Yes, the very same man, whom also in the early 1970s produced the famous TV-serie "The World At War" ( The_World_at_War ). The below "Cold War"-serie is indeed as well worth viewing, as Sir Isaacs first serie about the 2nd World War is! Hard to come by on DVD and / or VHS for many years, but now atleast available through "youtube", as links below displays.
