Question Iraq Pneumonia is it?

Not to be paranoiac...

Two soldiers have now died in theater from what the Pentagon is today calling "pneumonia", and fifteen cases have been reported, two of which are bacterial in nature. Thirteen cases are, then, of the infectious variety.

Fair enough.

No evidence of another cause has been identified, it is said.

The epidemiological investigations are continuing.

Haven't heard any word if the locals in Iraq have been infected at all. Also were these soldiers all moving in the same area, could they have come upon some unknown substances in their investigating? I'm sorry, but I'm suspicious.

Nang,

I am too, the good folks in DC appear to be dancing around the tulips just a hair too briskly on this one...so far. The fact that no locals were affected is not encouraging at this moment in time, primarily because none of us civilians are TOLD what is happening in the realm of "collateral damage".

You never know what they blew up or dug up during their last couple months. They are blowing up old weapons and other things they've found you would hope they didn't release anything into the air that could make a round robbin - making them sick.

Also if they have air conditioning such as I've heard they are at risk for lung infections from this cool and hot temperature variances.

Where is the Doc he should have some response to this? Hey Doc let us know what you think could be infecting these troops.

The Army is checking to see if there is any connection with the shots they received.
