Default FNG checking in.

New guy here,served with Delta Co 3/21st 196th L.I.B Americal Div working off LZ Center.served 4 months as Point and later after promotion to Sgt,squad leader.Served from Sept 11, 1969- Sept 1970. Airborne and served 14 months with Bravo Company 1/509th Airborne Division Maniz,Germany Got out March 73.Retired after years of long haul truck driving.Have a 1998 Harley-Davidson Road King and I ride all the time.My riding buddy Frank Skokan got me to this web page.I am a White Oak basket artist now.To occupy my time during the day I make basket from white oak trees.I cut ,split, clean and weave the old fashion way.The art that I learned from my Father who made baskets for over 25 years.OK just wanted to Check in.

I'm glad you made it on to this site. Lots of good people on here. Don't be shy just jump right in. Danny and I have been bros along time and have for sure helped each other thru the bad times. Taken alot of good bike rides too!

Welcome home Danny, I just joined myself. I met Frank at the campout also and remember him telling about your baskets. I think Frank is comming this way after the 4th maybe you can come with him.

Say did you ever fly out of Sembach and make a drop on Dermstein DZ? A small valley with town at one end and vineyards on the hillsides. Made a jump there in early 68 with a too soon green light and whole stick landed in vineyards, Pucker factor was High.
