Have the remains been identified and families contacted? Best regards to your son.

Two Vietnam War MIAS have been identified recently and are being returned home to their families soon. They were both Air Force servicemen. The two being returned are Master Sgt. Thomas E. Heideman and Capt. Craig B. Schiele, both of Chicago. They were aboard a CH-3E helicopter on Oct. 24th. 1970, when during a rescue operation the helicopter crashed. The original investigation was conducted on Dec. 14th, 1994 by a U.S.-Lao team led by Joint Task Force-Full Accounting.

Thumbs up

I have known Sids son , Philip, since he was a freshman in HS. He has grown to be a fine man and soldier. Even though he has threatened to date my daughter and I threaten to kill him if he does we remain friends.Got a chill when Sid told me of his latest mission - our sons are bringing home the remains of our brothers. Makes me proud and sad at the same time........... if you are wounded I will carry you , if you are captured I will come for you and if you are killed I will always remember you............. Peace to our dead brothers and thank you - thank you Philip and NO you can't ask her out. Welcome home to all the brothers
