Welcome Esteban. I was not in the Big Red One, but they operated in my AO, Phouc Long Province of III CTZ, when I was there in 1969, When were you there?

I was in 1/4 Cav. from 9/69 til the unit was withdrawn in 4/70.

Welcome home Brother Esteban yah'l come to the right place.
Hmmmm? Big Red One, great justifiably proud unit. I was with the leaning ...hithouse bunch that nobody wants to admit that they were with anymore. Go to the VA and you won't even see the patch on their board that shows all the unit patches. I sure do have to thank you guys with that black horse or the number one on your boonies for covering my a...s though.

Welcome Aboard !! Did you go back to the states in 4/70 with the 1st or to another unit? I served with the 25th and we had a lot of folks who had time left come to our unit from the 1st. I was an 11C20 ( 81 MM mortar ). A Sgt Bradley is one I remember.
