Mt. Adams,

Tom you have a great idea.
How about lets do a Patriotfiles climb of Mt. Adams next July. The motive is to get everyone eating right and exercising. Make sure the Doctors says its okay. I'd love to go with James W., he's one great guy. However, Mt. Adams is long and high. When you get above 10,000 ft the breathing is a little more difficult. Anybody for a climb, sign up with Tom and Myself. I know Sid and LT John and Curtis could do it. Doc Fred has wanted to do it for some time. Wouldn't that be great. We'll get Dave and Bernadette in shape too. Wow, now I'm on a mission. Maybe we can Sis to tag along.

Sis,

Some think its the oldest volcano in the Cascades. Hasn't had any action over 1,000 years, some say at least 2,000 years. Some geologist believe it to be extinct not just dormat. However, the one most likely to blow is Mt. Baker just across the sound from Griz, near Bellingham. Lots of steam and and hot springs in the area, which means lava is close to the surface. Mt St. Helens has been a slow eruptive state since 1980, slowly building back its dome.

Keith have a happy birthday and may you have many more. didn't see any deer today just hunters on every stump I'm taking off hunting tommorrow and help my son move into his new house and I'll hunt Bambi monday.
