Glad you're here and pay attention to what Travis says about those "Psyco" guys. They're the best but just a bit dinky dow.
Curious, why nine years active and then out? Nine years is half way to lifer. You were in signal and I spent the majority of my time in STRATCOM where lifer was the norm.

Welcome to the site welder. Did you serve in the Gulf? If so in what unit? I was a 31D working in a LOS V3.

Truthfully, when I joined the Army I had dreams of going off to fight wars and win all the Medals (Audie Murphy Syndrom). then I got off an air plain with real ammo and the stark reality set in.. Nov 19 1990. I asked myself, "What the f-ck did I get myself into THIS time?". When my great dream of fighting a war became true, it scarred me to death. I never blinked and never complained BUT I swore if I got out of there alive I was 100% done. That my friend is the truth.

I was with 13th sig and yea we lived in the field. Think we may have saw you guys a couple times when we rotated in and out of the garrison setup. We did all the FOTE and what-not. 90% call completion rate? Hehe, whatever it took to get congress to pass funding

I remember thay said We where writting the TMs for all that stuff durring the FO&E or FOTE what ever it was called. I know it was winter and cold. I was awareded an ARCOM and an AAM for that field problem got the ARCOM for sitting in a V1 for over 700hrs while recording EVERY SINGLE LITTLE BLINK my equeptment made. AAM was just an "attaboy".

Welcome to the PF and thank you for your service.
And don't worry about the Psyco Vets but watch out for the sick puppys running around here. They will hijack a thread in a NY minute and never look back.
