As previously stated, thanks for helping a friend contact another friend (re. Boats).

To tell the truth, if I had Wayne's daily responsibilities, difficulties & problems I probably wouldn't even want to get out of bed in the morning, much less post, reply or even joke here on Patfiles,...much less on any other site for-that-matter.

Regardless, and since you are sole friend forthcoming & posting here lately, I hope you can give me (plus other members here also) much more sensible reasons why many veterans refuse coming back to this: "Top military history site on web" & also: "David built a website second to none" or latest compliments according to Arrow? Previous excuses seem petty & unbecoming.

Besides, I just cannot believe1CAVCCO15MED or Fred's: "I haven't given up on PF 1, I just don't want to deal with Niel (Even misspelled makes a nice rhyme.) and Darellsjoy".

Yeah, sure, me & Joy are truly that annoying & threatening to Brave Veterans???

Also, I can't believe or will even accept one of Arrows further deserter excusing contentions that ALL leaving here merely: "Choose to exercise their right to assemble on another website with like minded veterans".

The fact that so many members left at the same time should be a clear message to you that there was a problem in this forum.

If you refuse to accept that, then there is nothing I can say that will make any difference.

Arrow has said it as well as it can be said.

David had posted TWICE, requesting that
political items be posted in the POLITICAL FORUM.

When that didn't work, some members spoke up and made the same request of everyone.

The response was, "If you don't like the political posts just don't read them."

In short, "We're going to post wherever we damn please. If you don't like it, tough shit."

When I left this forum there were political posts in the General forum, the Weapons forum, and a member had been banned from the forum for the above.

You tell me, Neil, why I or anyone else should feel loyalty to people who dish out rudeness and inconsideration?

I'll go somewhere where people try to follow the forum guidelines for the benefit of everyone and where I'm not treated like a red-headed stepchild.

I and no doubt many other viewers here (there are more than ever before) would much more prefer specifics about such, rather than just accusatory generalities & innuendos.

Still, I was surpised your SO OPENLY stating: "We're going to post wherever we damn please. If you don't like it tough shit". Isn't that real nice & considerate of you?

Even though your such remarks show you're obviously not nor were ever TRULY concerned about any: "Rudeness and inconsideration" by any posters, such is totally understandable.

Hell, for a good three years I quite proudly told my fair share of Airborne types (or any others not in my company or troop for that matter - once: "A Bird" from Division)): "If You're Not RECON - You're SHIT"! Naturally for any officers we had to end such a greeting or query about unit with: "SIR"!

Regardless, what's with that: "WE'RE going to...", anyway? Got a mouse in your pocket? Or are you also just another spokesperson like Arrow, for all veterans getting feathers ruffled (real, imagined or fabricated) here on Patfiles?

Also, stating that you were: "Treated like a red-headed stepchild" here on patriotfiles.com seemed far-out & silly to me. If so,...who or whom did that? If you didn't instantly straighten such out & instead of just opted skipping-out with rest of the group or gang,...shame on you.

Whatever, thanks for letting all the many viewers/members here now realize that not just civilians are easily swayed & can be Pied-Piper led-by-the-nose, as people seen protesting on TV quite obviously often are. "Grass Roots"? Eh?

I'll betcha that even many misguided veterans are amongst those now stupidly Protesting Capitalism on Wall Street, as ordered & paid for by basically marxist George Soros nation collapser & Big Unions (both Public & Private Sector) & Politicos.

Sorry, Rigger. But, I couldn't waste this entire long posting on just overly-sensitive veterans whom would rather just bail-out rather than stand firm & hold their ground against adversity or whatever. But that's just me. Nothing personal.

I truly liked your stating that: "You (re. Neil/reconeil) were active on the board during the events I mentioned", since that should remind the MANY not herdlike or free of will loyal members still remaining here about that sad time.

Though, wish you would have also mentioned that I (plus a few others) were ones obviously on The Receiving End of such Despicable Veteran Behaviors by some of your tight buddies.

Regardless:"That's water under the bridge" & no-big-deal.

I can & will always put any such low-life: "Ranking" or "Mothering" (re. insulting & demeaning of parentage) SCUM (civilian or veteran) rightfully in their places,...just as I did back then.

Hell, Steve. I once had an obscene caller hang up ON ME while straightening him out.

Regardless, say Hi for me to all the others once befriending & calling me: "Friend" on Patfiles. I hold no grudges against such,...or any other misguided group for-that-matter.
