Admittedly, there is great variety of core constituency in these groups, but to repeat a point made earlier, if greater unity was practiced amongst them, a greater benefit would inure to the members. (For those of you in Rio Linda, that means we would get more stuff!) If you just add up the administrative costs of keeping the doors open for these groups, you can quickly see the $$ flying off to the heavens without really benefiting anybody but the adminstrative types. Have they never heard of the phrase, "E Pluribus Unum"?

Multiply the perceived wasteful-ness in $$$ ( X ) times, oh say, the last 58 years ( said period from 1945 - ( end of WW2) thru 2003 )....quite a staggering figure...then index it for inflation, and convert to current $$$$...boggles the mind...but then my old mind is easily-bogggled...
