This is a HOAX that has been floating around on the Internet since shortly
after 9/11. The one that posted this trash apparently got it in his/her
email and chose to believe the same. Check your information before
forwarding, posting, etc. Again, the posting by Ima Rek is pure hogwash
....a HOAX at its best.

Salmon Rushdie "abandoned" the UK to live in the U.S. quite some time ago.
If memory serves me well he felt we weren't quite good enough for his
eminentness and did some heavy-duty bad-mouthing of the UK, despite the fact
that for many years he was provided with round the clock Scotland Yard
protection (at tax payers expense) after pissing off the entire Moslem world
with his book, "Satanic Verses". If any of Walter Davis's laughable
assertions are to be believed (which they aren't) I'm sure if Scotland Yard
had had their way, far from preventing him from flying that day they'd have
personally escorted him onto the flight and nailed him to his seat!

Israel had warned the U.S. relative to security concerns. The government
ignored the warning and it the information was processed by incompetents
who should have never been employed in the intelligence and security field
to begin with.

Read the Senate Intelligence Committee report on 9/11 and you will have a
fast change of mind regarding this issue. They also ignored warnings from
Germany and the UK. Canada could have also acted more responsively.
However, the terrorists seem to have found a haven in Canada prior to 9/11
and keep in mind just like one of the Libyan paymasters in Canada was in the
open operating a travel agency that was also funding neoNazis in Canada and
the U.S..
