It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that mankind has been at war with his own kind ever since the very first of his species slithered forth from the primordial ooze of creation! As a matter of fact, I am utterly amazed that humanity has managed to survive his own bloody onslaughts throughout all of these many millennia – but have thee faith people, as nothing is ever forever!

And if it wasn’t for some overly aggressive troglodyte always trying to bash in the skulls of some smaller member of the food-chain, then it was some damned fool attempting to show that he was a member of the master race, or even some egoist trying to prove that he was tougher, bigger, smarter, richer, or even more highly connected, than the guy who lives right next door- the gent who wanted nothing more out of his life but to survive – and so it still is!

“So just where does this morbid little fantasy end, or will this circle of fire and mayhem continue on until there is not one damned, overly-powerful fool left alive to contest the aggressive behavior of those who would forever be kings – “Tell That To The Europe Of The First Half Of The Twentieth Century!”

“WELL GOOD LUCK WITH THAT AMIGOS”, as in my humble opinion, in the last twenty-centuries plus, this race of ours has been very lucky? But then luck, like fantasy and an overly-ripe goose , can only be stretched just so far, before it pops, leaving some poor damned fool with a very poignant lesson in the unbendable laws of physics, and maybe even a great deal of unnecessary mess to clean-up!?

Did a 1950s TV Episode Feature a Character Named Trump Who Offered to Build a Protective Wall?

An episode of the 1950s western TV series 'Trackdown' featured a character named Walter Trump who claimed he would build a wall in order to protect a town from the end of the world.

In November 2016, an episode of the 1950s western television series Trackdown was published to YouTube, along with the claim that it “predicted Donald Trump” by featuring a snake oil salesman character named “Trump” who claimed that only he could prevent the end of the world … by building a wall around the town:

The television series Trackdown really did produce an episode featuring a “Trump” character who came to town claiming that only he could prevent the end of the world by building a wall (and also sold special force propelling umbrellas to deflect meteorites). The episode (S1, E30) aired on CBS in 1958 and was titled “The End of the World,” featuring actor Lawrence Dobkin playing the role of “Walter Trump.” A synopsis of the episode from the Classic TV Archive reads as follows:

Walter Trump, a confidence man, puts on a long robe and holds a tent meeting in the town of Talpa. He tells the townspeople that a cosmic explosion will rain fire on the town and that he is the only one that can save them from death. Ranger Hoby Gilman attempts to prove Trump is a fraud.

A relevant portion of dialog from this episode has been transcribed below:

Narrator: The people were ready to believe. Like sheep they ran to the slaughterhouse. And waiting for them was the high priest of fraud.

Trump: I am the only one. Trust me. I can build a wall around your homes that nothing will penetrate.

Town person: What do we do? How can we save ourselves?

Trump: You ask how do you build that wall. You ask, and I’m here to tell you.
