Information from the Miami County Sheriff?s Office:




March 23

Animal complaint ? Ponies from the circus at Hobart Arena, 255 Adams Street, were reported running loose at 9:03 a.m. Police rounded them up and took them to the rear entrance of the arena.

Disorderly conduct ? Police were called to the Hobart Arena, 255 Adams Street, at 7:03 p.m. to handle protesters at the circus that was in town.

Fireworks ? At 7:16 p.m., police were called to Jeep Street, where subjects were reportedly setting off fireworks. Police were sent to check it out.

March 24

Vehicle theft ? At 5:28 a.m., a blue Park Avenue was reported stolen from 525 Lake Street during the night.

March 25

Burglary in progress ? At 10:57 p.m., police were called to 487 Mayfield Square East, where a burglary was possibly in progress. The caller said someone tried to come into the house. She said she wasn't sure if the person was still there. She saw only a black sleeve at the front door of the residence. She said she believed it is a person that has been watching the house. She assumes the person is on foot. Police didn't find anyone around, but were going to do extra checks in the area.
