Need Help from the Sea Bees
This is Doc Brandt (HM2 78-84). I am the Commander and Service Officer for the DAV in Tulsa, OK. I have had a family member of a WW II SeaBee come to me for help in getting information on his service. He served from 44-46 and was a member of NCB 31, 52 and 72. He was a Carpenter's Mate 3/C. I am trying to locate a cruise book for NCB 31 for 1945. I am also trying to locate unit patches for all 3 units, if available. Can anyone out there help me?

NCB in Navy jargon is a Navy Construction Battalion home of the fighting SeaBees. The ones the service turns to when they need something built fast and correctly the first time. The numbers are the unit numbers. Just as you are a member of the 101st Cav, they are a member of NCB 31,52, 72 etc.
