strenuous, You woooose. Sitting in a boat is strenuous? Standing in a basket is strenuous. Your old.
If you go about 400 miles from your home North east you'll run into the Sammon river, That is strenuous. I floated that river for 5 days. There ain't nothin strenuous about Coasta Rica sep maybe the thought of comming back to the US. Ron |

All I remember about the RTO's calling in coordinates was the code wheel they used and the daily code sheet. Every input call on the radio was prefaced with I "shack" alpha, tango, two, fiver, blah, blah, blah ,blah..... Then of course their was the time we wanted to go swimmin in the river at the base of the FB we were supposed to be humping to. A nice sequestered spot neath shady trees with gentle breezes and warm sun. Unfortunately we were giving wrong updates and hauling ass to get there so we could have some play time and somebody decided to zero the mortars about 25 yards from our position. Never saw so many naked butts running for the radio at the same time yelling "check fire" when that willy pete blew. As punishment we were not allowed to stay on the FB for the night and eat a warm meal. They sent us out about a click or so away for the night and we got to watch as they almost got overrun about 11:00pm from the North which was the area we had just passed through earlier that day. Moral of the story I didn't read maps I fixed bodies.

Yes, Ron, youve got it--we're in complete communication here. Just like lying down is strenuous--when someone sits on yr face. No, the only strenuous-iness I like nowadays is waiting for the dang cabana boy to bring me my fresh squozen orange juice When the heck were you in Costa rica anyway, doesn't sound like the kind of place you'd go on vacation but youre a surprising person. I hear you retired!! Lets go back to Vietnam and retake the place. Its safe now, US Army paratroopers (Me and Tom) already checked it out. Or maybe its too strenuous for you? Stay good James.
