Default A Most Remarkable Corporal

My father in law, Arnold Miller has done it again. He probably has the world record for someone with a fourth grade education meeting famous people: Douglas McArthur, George Bush, Bob Hope, Dean Smith, several governors of North Carolia, Phil Ford and family, Michael Jordon, numerous congressmen. He just didn't meet these people, he had a personal relationship with them. His latest? The Secretary of Veterans Affairs Anthony Principi. Arnold lives in the dom at Mountain Home Va Center. He had a knock on his door to his room and when he answered it, there was Principi. He came in and talked to Arnold about his WWII service and then looked at Arnold's medals. He then thanked him for him saving the world. Principi told Arnold without him and millions of others he wouldn't be there today.

Unhappy Fred

I'm crushed! Arnold met me too. More importantly I had the pleasure of meeting him, a very cool old boy. Still remember him telling me he worked with a guy from Massachusetts once and the guy wasn't a complete A hole. I think that was sort of a compliment.

Stay healthy,
Andy

He still talks about you and Packo. He likes you even if he can't tell which one was from Massachusetts. He likes me too, I think. He tells everyone I am his favorite son-in-law. He then hastens to add I am his only son-in-law.

Just the best player ever at North Carolina excepting of course MJ. Living with a certified North Carolina basketball nut has been an education.
