Angry Correct Me If I Am Wrong

10-6-2016

“Of late, I have been seeing political audacity that has jabbed right at the gut of democracy!”

Portions of “The Bill of Rights” has come under attack, including of late “The First Amendment”, upon which all other laws pivots! And let’s face it, should “Freedom of Speech” bite the dust, so goes “Your Entire Constitution!” For if you ever lose the power to say what is on your mind (within reason), you have become mute, newspapers cease to exist, the nightly news becomes nothing more than a propaganda tool, and even language itself becomes a lost art!

Now I fully realize that many of you are now saying that this could never come to pass here within The United States! But in the event that you have a very short memory, a few who are currently in power, have already expressed their displeasure with those who tell it as they see it! And should it ever become a crime to speak your mind, as it has in some countries around the world, is not religious freedom also in danger, not to mention national elections similar to the one that is scheduled for 8 November.

Hell, and while they are at it, what right (if any) could remain sacrosanct, if “Your Freedom of Speech” were ever to be extracted from “The Body of Liberty?”

“May The Good Lord Continue To Bless The Spirits Of Patriots Like George Washington, Ben Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry, and Abraham Lincoln etc!”
